This kit is designed to convert a 2wd 73-79 F250 to 4wd using the axles and suspension from an 05 and newer F250/F350 super duty truck. This kit provides a 4in lift over stock height 78/79 4x4 trucks, or the same as factory height for 77.5 and older trucks. This kit will be 90% bolt on with the only welded part being the steering
box mount. Designed from factory Ford CAD models, this kit correctly positions all the components for the optimal functionality and fitment.
The benefits of swapping a 2wd to 4wd with superduty axles include a tendency to have a nicer starting truck at a cheaper price. Coil front suspension, massive dick brakes front and rear, and parts availability.
Optional add ons for this kit include a 08 and newer leaf spring brackets that allow you to use the longer 08 and newer rear leaf springs that provide a softer ride while still maintaining load capacity.
