This DIY weld kit for a 73-79 single cab truck cab is a perfect match for your project, this kit is easy to assemble and allows you to set your truck cab on the finished cart and move it around your shop. The kit comes as 16 laser cut parts that fit together with a tab and slot design, Open corner joints makes welding easy. The bottom of the cab is positioned 9.5” off the ground providing for a comfortable working height to do work inside and outside of the cab.
There are also tie down points built in for secure transport.
You will need to supply 13ft of 1.5” .120 wall box tube and a set of casters, the casters can be found on Amazon here
 
NOTE: This kit fits the standard rear mounting width that is about 2ft wide found on most trucks. Some trucks have a wider rear cab mounting position closer to 3ft wide that this will not fit. These trucks are usually the 77.5 and earlier F250 4x4 ( " High Boy") and F350 cab and chassis trucks but there may be some others. Please confirm the fitment before purchasing, an easy way to check is that the wider mount has the frame mounts on the outside of the frame were as the standard has them on the inside of the frame.
